As a Founding Member of the Hellenic Sustainable Building Council, an acknowledged member of the World Council, we feel strongly responsible for overcoming the narrow limits of the Guidelines and our goal is to set standards in areas such as:

• Waste and waste management.
• Recycling of packaging and stationery.
• Limitation of emissions from the vehicles and the production infrastructure of the company.
• Complete elimination of all organic solvents from the production processes aiming at the absolute guarantee of quality in working conditions and direct protection of the environment from the burden of their residues.
• Rational use of energy.
• Bioclimatic orientation of facilities – with the ultimate goal of 100% “green buildings” to meet future housing needs.

Wanting to eliminate social inequality and discrimination based on nationality, gender and economic situation, we participate in voluntary actions by offering our services to NGOs and State Agencies.

Since 2009, Icon Group has volunteered and covered the need to maintain the facilities of NGO “The Smile of the Child” in the area of Attica. We offer free of charge but with the same quality the services for which we are emerging. Technical support and maintenance of mechanical installations in 16 houses.

Since 2015, Icon Group is a founding member of the non-governmental organization SBC Greece Hellenic Sustainable Development Council in actions that promote sustainability in construction. Icon Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Dimitris Managoudis, serves as Executive Director of SBC Greece’s BoD.

In 2014, the Icon Group, aware of the problems of the Greek Society in matters of education and in particular the poor hygiene conditions at the school complexes, decided to offer Volunteer Mechanical and Architectural Study Services at the 15th Elementary School of Nikaia for the reconstruction of children’s WCs and WCs of kindergarten teachers as well as creating storage spaces. This research was delivered complete to the School Committee.

Since 2016 we participate via World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies in actions by European bodies to exploit and research new technologies to minimize emissions worldwide.

Having always as a basic principle the development and development of the services provided, knowing that they come from its human resources, we take care of the continuous and qualitative education of our people.
